About

Hi there! I’m Akash Vashisth. Born in the serene valleys of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in November 1992, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing life across various corners of India, thanks to my father’s service in the Indian Air Force. From the vibrant landscapes of Jamnagar, Gujarat, to the historic lanes of Pathankot, Punjab, my childhood was a journey across cultures, cuisines, and communities. In 2005, after my father retired from the Air Force, our family moved to Visakhapatnam, where I completed my schooling and graduated 12th grade in 2010. Later, in 2012, we moved back to Dehradun, which has since become home.

My love for automobiles—cars, motorcycles, and everything in between—shaped my early ambitions. It led me to pursue a degree in Automobile Engineering from Graphic Era University in Dehradun. Those four years were a peaceful, enriching time that deepened my understanding of machines and sparked a lasting passion for creation.

While my engineering path seemed set, destiny had other plans. Over the past decade, I’ve carved a niche for myself in content creation. From technical writing to press communications, automotive content, and search engine optimization, my career has been an exciting blend of creativity and technology.

Writing has always been my refuge and a way to live in my own world. In 2018, I took my first step as an author, self-publishing A Walk on the Drops, a collection of raw and heartfelt short stories. While that book’s journey came to a halt when the publishing company closed down, it was a stepping stone to something greater. After years of perseverance and a fair share of setbacks, I published my debut novel, Agent S.H.A.R.P., which is now available on Amazon. It’s a testament to my belief that stories, much like people, find their way out into the world when the time is right.

Through this website, I hope to share not just my journey as an author and professional but also my musings on technology, life, automobiles, and the planet we all call home. If you’re passionate about any of these, stick around—we have much to explore together.
