While it might sound like a distant future from Earth’s perspective, Roeayt exists in an entirely different galaxy, the Funny Way. The timeline doesn’t necessarily sync with Earth’s; for all we know, Earth’s year might be 200,000 BCE when it’s 20,018 on Roeayt.
To make things easier for you Earthlings, I’ve used familiar Earthly terms throughout the story. For example, I’ve referred to coffee and tea, which are universally loved beverages on Earth. On Roeayt, they’re called Otarqi and Puliset, but I avoided these native terms to spare you the confusion (and myself from having to explain them repeatedly). You’re welcome.
